Transformer and reactor transport from China
A power transformer is indivisible, heavy and tall at the same time. Preparation decides everything: a trailer for the mass, the permit and a route where the bridges hold.

Route to the substation
We check bridges and overpasses, line heights and turns on the approach. Detours are agreed in advance. Above 4.5 m we measure clearances on site.
Escort
The convoy travels with pilot cars and a police patrol where required. Outside towns it moves in daylight only.
Frequently asked questions
Can a transformer travel without a permit?
Almost never: mass and height exceed the limits. We obtain the permit before the cargo arrives.
How long does preparation take?
The permit takes 3–15 working days, so we start as soon as we have the drawing.
Who is responsible during transloading?
We are: the crane, lifting and lashing plan are prepared in advance and checked before release.
