Why it usually takes long
When clearance starts after arrival, release from the bonded warehouse takes 3–7 days. Border terminal storage runs about ₸1,600 per tonne per day, and a truck day costs $95–165. A wrong code or invoice adds more days.

What does a customs broker cost in Kazakhstan?
The market range is ₸40,000–100,000 per declaration, depending on line items and classification. The broker is a separate line on our invoice.
Who pays import duty and VAT?
It depends on the Incoterm. Under DAP the buyer pays import charges, under DDP the seller does. We work with either and show the amount in advance.
Can clearance start before the cargo arrives?
Yes, that is how we work. The broker gets the documents early, so the declaration is ready when the truck arrives.
